Corporate College

Following three years of planning and development, Corporate College, a division of Cuyahoga Community College, was established in 2003 to accelerate economic growth in Northeast Ohio. Corporate College was designed to fulfill the business community's need for an advanced training delivery system; a vital component of the region's strategically coordinated economic development agenda that leverages the strengths of Northeast Ohio. Regional strengths include a history of product innovation, proximity to major North American markets, an extensive transportation network, internationally recognized health care and research institutions, and a diverse workforce. Extensive partnership arrangements enable Corporate College to provide "just-in-time" training - when and where it is needed by regional businesses.

Corporate College also offers credit and non-credit training and skills enhancement courses for the individual. The facilities feature state-of-the art conference and meeting space and host many training functions and company offsite meetings.

There are two Corporate College locations. The Westlake facility (Cleveland's west side) opened in May 2003. The Warrensville Heights (Cleveland's east side) facility opened in July 2005. In its first two years of operations, Corporate College has provided skill development and enhancement programs for many of the region's most important high-growth companies and organizations. Over 7,000 individuals have received Corporate College training.
